The Baluchi tribes are a semi-nomadic people whose traditional weaving spans the borderlands of eastern Iran and western Afghanistan. Their rugs are known for richly layered color palettes and bold, geometric design language, often unified by a strong central motif or repeating field structure. Many Baluchi weavings favor all-over, single-concept designs, giving each piece a sense of cohesion and quiet rhythm throughout.
