Caucasian rugs are emblematic of the nomadic cultures that have lived in the Caucasus (predominantly Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia) region for centuries. Rugs are woven with hand-spun wool from the sheep they herded and raised. Characteristics include exceptionally detailed and intricate geometric and floral designs.
