Lori rugs are woven by nomadic Lurs tribes in the southern part of Iran. Like many tribal communities, weaving is an integral part of their history and as such, their art often depicts central motifs to their ways of life. They tend to boast rich combinations of colors and are made of very high quality wool, which is why they are so durable.
